Now for some info on our favorite purple haired fighter.

There are 2 "versions" of trunks. One from the future and one in the present time. Future Trunks is known as Mirai Trunks "Mirai" of course meaning future. The trunks from present time is known as Chibi Trunks.

In the timeline of Future Trunks all of the Z-fighters with the exception of Gohan had been killed by Dr. Gero's Androids #17 and #18. Goku never had the chance to fight against the Androids becaus he died of a heart virus. I believe if Goku were alive things would have been different. Sadly Future Trunks never got to know his Father Vegeta because Vegeta was killed when Trunks was still a baby. As time passed Trunks had become a teenager, meanwhile the world around him was in ruins. The Androids continued their destruction. Gohan whom had been fighting the Androids decided to train Trunks as he saw much potential in the boy. Truks had come close to being Super Saiyan a few times but never could go all the way through. One day after training Gohan and Trunks heard explosions in a nearby city. Trunks was eager to fight but Gohan believed he was not ready. Gohan kocked out Trunks to keep him from fighting. Gohan fought the Androids with all he had, and even though he had lost an arm in a previous battle he fought very well. Unfortunately it was 2 against 1 and the Andrids were too much for Gohan. Gohans last words were "You cannot kill what i am, even if you kill this body someone even stronger will come and take my place." Trunks wakes up and the battle seemed to be over. He rushed into the city looking for his mentor. As the rain pours down he glimpses a body in the a puddle. He discovers that it is Gohan and that he had been killed. This was the turning point in Trunks's life and he had just lost his best friend and his teacher. He felt an uncontrollable rage inside and atthapoint he transformed into a Supe Saiyan.......to be contined
